CLUB CLOTHING: The Club appreciates the continuing efforts of Lorraine Dunne in managing club clothing, introducing new lines and keeping the stock and sales records in order. Members who wished to make a purchase were asked to contact Lorraine or our Secretary. Stock of clothing will be available at our larger events.

RDS MOTOR SHOW: The membership was complementary of John O’Neill in the organisation of the Club stand at the Car show held at RDS in Dublin earlier in the month. By all accounts, our stand was the most visited and best laid out by a mile.

Of particular interest was the working model of a T engine and transmission which attracted attention of visitor continuously throughout the two day event. Members considered that the entry price at €18 together with car park costs €7 may have been a factor in reduced attendance as compared with the last event of two years ago.

Consideration may be given to allowing the unit to be displayed at the 2018 NEC Car Show in Birmingham where we may co-share stand with Model T Register of Great Britain. A presentation expressing our appreciation for the considerable effort involved will be made at Adare to John.

APPRECIATION: Continuing the practice of gift giving to those who ran Club activities the Secretary presented President Raymond Megaw and Treasurer Timothy Keane with a hand turned Irish beech bowl as a token of our appreciation of their voluntary endeavor for and on behalf of us all, with thanks.

There being no further business the meeting ended at 1.00pm.
