Stradbally August 2017

We gathered at Stradbally on the first Sunday over the bank holiday week end to celebrate with our hosts their 53rd Annual Steam Rally. To the fore were John Hendy and Paul Murphy, the duo that do the real preparations to make our day enjoyable and pleasant.

Weather was ok – sunny spells, mixed showers and everything in between. Great turnout of members and their Ts.

A great addition to the Irish stock of Model Ts was a 1909 early two lever car, the only one of its kind in Ireland with one other in Scotland. Pride of place was given to this vehicle and an 1906 Model N, and rightly so.
